Here’s a “15 second elevator summary” of my experience in the rubber industry:

1. •Eighteen years with specialty polymer companies (DuPont and 3M/Dyneon) and eleven years at custom mixers (Excel and Preferred Rubber);
   

2. •One private company start-up plus a short tenure at Rhein Chemie (Bayer) (after the start-up failed, the mortgage still needed to be paid).
   

3. •All on the list had me heavily involved with “transplanted” or “New Domestic” Japanese and other Asian automotive customers.
   

4. •I speak Japanese and read German and have a degree in chemistry.
